Discord anti-raid that tells raiders from real members
Raids arrive as a burst of joins from new accounts. Kipp watches the join rate and scores each joiner, so real members get in while automated accounts are removed.

What Kipp checks during a raid
- Account age. Accounts created minutes or days ago score higher.
- No profile picture. Default-avatar accounts are a common sign of bots.
- Created together. Accounts made within an hour of other joiners.
- Look-alike names. Similar usernames across the burst.
Lockdown that lifts itself
When a raid is serious, Kipp locks the server and announces it once. The lockdown lifts by itself after 15 minutes (or the time you pick), so a raid at 3am does not leave your server silent until morning.
Join Gate and verification
Join Gate screens every newcomer for account age, missing avatars, suspicious names, unapproved bots and known bad actors. Add captcha or web verification for a second layer.
Questions
How does Kipp detect a raid?
It counts joins in a time window (10 in 60 seconds by default) and scores each joiner on signs of an automated account.
Will real members be kicked?
Older accounts with a profile picture are never caught by the raid scoring.
