Who controls your Kipp

Owner, extra owners, trusted users, Kipp admins and staff groups.

  1. 1. Know the four levels

The server owner always has full control. Extra owners have the same control. Trusted users can use emergency controls, loosen protection and manage Kipp admins. Kipp admins can change settings. Give out as little as you can: a stolen account with Kipp access is the easiest way to nuke a server.

  2. 2. Add people by their user id

Turn on Developer Mode in Discord (Settings, Advanced), right-click someone, Copy User ID, and paste it on the dashboard. You can also use the command.

  3. 3. Map your staff roles

Staff groups tell Kipp which roles are your server admins and server mods, and which protection modules skip them. Only add roles you trust.

  4. 4. Let staff use features

Staff features let extra roles use things like tickets, cases or purge without becoming Kipp admins.
