Kipp: Start here
Getting started
Add Kipp, put its role in the right place and turn on protection.
Open the interactive guide Tick steps off as you go, with links straight to your dashboard.
1. Invite Kipp
Use the invite link on the home page or run /about invite in any server that already has Kipp. Keep every permission ticked: Kipp needs them to undo what an attacker does.
2. Move Kipp’s role near the top
In Server Settings, Roles, drag the Kipp role above every role it should be able to act on (your staff roles too). Kipp can’t ban, quarantine or restore anyone with a higher role.
3. Press Full protection
Run the checklist and press Full protection. Kipp creates its log and alert channels, turns every protection module on, and sets up a verification gate. Nothing changes for members who are already in.

Guided setup goes through logs, protection, verification and access one screen at a time.
/kipp setup5. Sign in to the dashboard
Sign in with Discord on this website, pick your server and open the Overview. The sidebar has ten sections and each one holds a few pages as tabs; the guides name them as Section › Tab. Every setting in these guides lives on the dashboard, and every change is logged with who made it.

6. Check what’s left
Run the checklist again. Anything still open says exactly how to fix it; some things, like Discord’s 2FA requirement for moderation, are changed in Discord itself.
