1. 1. How heat works

   Every message is checked by 19 filters. Each hit adds heat to the author, more for new or risky accounts. At 100 heat they are muted and their recent messages cleaned up. Heat cools by 2 every second.

2. 2. Scams are stopped at once

   Scam links, disguised links, malware files and scam wording don’t wait for heat: new accounts are banned by default, older ones quarantined (they are usually hacked). Every scam link caught is remembered, so the same link is removed in every server from then on.

3. 3. Add your own words and links

   Blacklist words (with * as a wildcard) and domains.

4. 4. Skip channels and roles

   Ignore channels or roles, and mark self-promotion channels where invites and ads are allowed.

5. 5. Use Discord’s AutoMod too
